Wisconsin Classic Stage
Classical theater in Milwaukee exists because people believe in it. Your support makes the work possible — on stage, in the studio, and in the community.
Why It Matters
Wisconsin Classic Stage operates on the belief that world-class classical theater belongs in Milwaukee — not one day, but now. We keep our houses intimate, our productions fearless, and our ticket prices accessible so that the work reaches people who need it.
Your donation sustains the company between productions, supports our Actors Studio training program, and enables us to take the artistic risks that define our work. Without individual support, none of this exists.
A noble and notably ambitious first outing for a new company.

Community Commitment
For our production of The Persians, $2 from every ticket sold directly benefits WarChild — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to protecting, educating, and standing up for the rights of children affected by war and armed conflict worldwide. We chose The Persians, the oldest anti-war play in recorded history, to open our season intentionally. The connection between ancient art and urgent humanity is not accidental. It is the point.
A direct gift to Wisconsin Classic Stage goes immediately to work — sustaining productions, supporting artists, and keeping classical theater alive in Milwaukee. Every amount matters.
Donate Now→The most direct way to support the work is to see it. Join us for The Persians — April 24–26, 2026 at Calvary Presbyterian Church, Milwaukee. Three nights. 75 seats. Limited availability.
